In this Beginner Contemporary Fusion class series, Maddie blends her passions of both contemporary and commercial dance styles. She fuses contemporary elements such as flow and weight shifts with street style elements like isolations and grooves. Maddie will guide dancers through a full body warm-up, followed by the breaking down of isolations, weight shifts and basic grooves. The class will round out with a combo that highlights the movement patterns practiced in the warm-up. As a facilitator and creator, Maddie strives to create a community based class that is inclusive of all movement levels, a safe space to ask questions, and a positive learning environment.
