Take class with ABBONDANZA Artists Gioia von Staden, Claire Goldes and Veronica Allen. Their class is rooted in contemporary dance, driven by our love for movement, community, and a feeling of abundance. We will begin with a warmup inspired by our backgrounds in Pilates, Yoga and other somatic practices, allowing movers to drop into their bodies and connect with breath, alignment, and organization through activation. We will share phrase work from our upcoming show at GOODLOVE Detroit, as well as work with improvisational scores. Our class invites you to bring yourself to the movement, and move towards personal instinct, choice, pleasure and joy. We can’t wait to dance with you!
